Our comfortable APARTMENT PLATYZ for 1-4 persons (65 meters in size) is situated in the building "PLATYZ". It is located 3 minutes walk from Wenceslas Square, Old Town square or Charles Bridge and within walking distance of all the main tourist attractions.   Palace Platyz, which is contiguous to the walls between Old Town and New Town, was built there around the year 1350 by Fridrich Burgundsky who was the courtier of king Charles IV. The first information about this building Platyz comes from that period of time. Among the owners of the building we can find for example burgrave Jan Bradaty from Stribro, Jan Leopold from Paar.

In 1586 Jan Plateys with her wife bought it and then fell to their son Jan Arnošt Platteys ( later bishop of Olomouc ). The house has styled their name up to now. Initially its facade led to the Uhelny trh. In 17. century the house was sold to Jan, Earl of Sternberk, who opened the gateway across the garden leading to New Town. The apartment Platyz is fully furnished and contains an entrance hall, a main room with are 2 double beds (2) and convertable sofa (5), a table (4), 2 armchairs, a CD/radio/cassette player and TV, an ensuite bathroom with shower (10), basin (9), toilet (8) and ensuite kitchen (1) (table (3), 4 chairs, cooker, refrigerator, electric kettle). This flat is suitable for individual tourists = 1 - 4 persons.
